“He is not here, for He has risen, just as He said!” (Matthew 28:6). We celebrate the resurrection of Jesus Christ today. We rejoice in the reality that our Lord triumphed over sin and death and that, through Him, we also have eternal life!

The president said that Jesus “had not come to take a throne but to carry a cross, not only to reign, but to save.“ He continued, “The Son of God was nailed to the Cross, crucified, and He died. … It was not the end. On Easter Sunday, the stone was rolled away and the grave was empty. Christians everywhere rejoiced, and we continue to rejoice.“

- For God’s will to be accomplished through the president and vice president this Easter Sunday as they celebrate the resurrection.
- That the Lord would use the Easter weekend to bring many more to saving faith and a relationship with Jesus Christ.
- For God to be glorified today, above all else.
